Serious games and tools, built for your organisation.
Everything on this site — five products, ten languages, live in production — we designed, built and run ourselves. We do the same for other organisations: a game, a simulation, an assessment, a classroom tool, or the platform to run yours on.
What we build
Custom games & simulations
You have a topic your people keep getting wrong — a negotiation, a supply chain, a make-or-buy call. We turn it into a game that teaches it: scenario, rules, scoring, debrief, and the software to run it with a full room.
Talk to us Not only gamesTools & assessments
Polls, surveys, self-assessments, benchmarks, calculators, dashboards. suPlay Poll and SSA are tools rather than games for a reason — sometimes what a programme needs is an instrument, not a game.
Talk to us Run it on our platformPlatform & white-label
Accounts, sessions, facilitator controls, live dashboards, results export, hosting and support — under your own branding. The parts every serious game needs and nobody wants to build twice.
Talk to us With your own teamCo-design & consulting
Sometimes the game already exists and needs a second opinion. We review learning objectives, mechanics, balance and debrief, and work alongside your own designers, teachers or developers.
Talk to usHow we work
Four steps. You see something running long before it is finished.
Discover
One session to pin down who plays, what they should be able to do afterwards, and how you will know it worked.
Design
Scenario, mechanics, scoring and debrief on paper first. You play a rough version before anything is built.
Build
Short iterations, tested as we go. Multiple languages and accessibility are part of the build, not a later project.
Run & measure
Hosting, facilitator training and session support. Results come back as data you can actually use.
Why suPlay
suPlay is a Dutch company that grew out of the University of Twente. The Purchasing Game was built there and is used worldwide, and we run five products in production — a serious game, a supply-chain simulator, a catalogue of short games, a live polling tool and a supplier-satisfaction assessment.
So the design advice arrives with an engineering team behind it, and the engineering arrives from people who have run these sessions in a room full of students and professionals. Both halves matter: a beautiful game nobody can facilitate teaches nothing, and a sound learning design that falls over with thirty people on it teaches less.
Tell us what you want to teach.
Describe the topic, the audience and roughly when you need it. We will tell you what we would build — and what we would not.
